About the Author
A professional story-teller as well as an acclaimed children’s author who has written over 40 picture books and novels for Walker Books alone.
Lauren O’Hara is an illustrator from the North of England. She collaborates with her writer sister Natalia, and together they have been published by Penguin Random House, Macmillan, and Walker Books.
Lauren has twice been nominated for the CILIP Kate Greenaway award, her book Madame Badobedah with author Sophie Dahl was a The Guardian book of the year and Frindleswylde by Natalia O’Hara was awarded the Children’s Books Ireland Illustration Honour award (2022) award.
She in lives in a converted church in Dublin with her partner, their cat, and assorted ghosts.
